Girl's Night!

Natasha wasn’t really familiar with the whole concept of “girl’s night”. She hadn’t had much of a childhood to speak of and had been forced to grow up far too fast. There hadn’t been time to have sleepovers and talk about boys while she had been training and killing whomever she was pointed at. SHIELD wasn’t much different in some ways, and though there were often opportunities to be social, she wasn’t really one to partake in them.

She had always gotten along with the boys better anyway; women never seemed to like her that much, so imagine her surprise when Pepper, not Tony, asked her over to Stark Tower after her most recent mission.

Striding into the kitchen she was the picture of ease and confidence despite her inner confusion. She found Pepper in the process of making drinks, hopefully for more than just the two of them considering the size of the pitcher. “Sorry I’m late. The debriefing took a little longer than expected.

Betty was only visiting, but she'd already met the infamous Pepper Potts and when one thing led to another, she'd found herself invited to get to know some of the other people in Bruce's life a little better. It was a little overwhelming, the idea of meeting real super heroes, even one at a time. Though intimidation wasn't ever really enough to stop Betty in the end.

A drink in hand, Betty smiled as this other woman entered the kitchen. She'd heard nothing about Natasha Romanoff, but her name. So she simply smiled in a pleasantly non threatening greeting.
